Just upgraded (debian unstable).
gnome-obex-server 0.5 - working but I don't get prompted for what do
do and where to save - which apps are the first three screenshots on
http://usefulinc.com/software/gnome-bluetooth/ taken from?
--------------------
gnome-bluetooth-manager:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/gnomebt/manager.py", line 29, in ?
import gtk.glade
ImportError: No module named glade
any ideas which glade package needs to be added (lots to choose from).
--------------------
Phonemgr-applet:
I note you state:
They are incompatible with Phone Manager and other software built
against previous versions.
So - I guessed I just had to recompile against the new version. Unpack
0.2.1, run ./configure --prefix=/usr - no errors or warnings. But make
returns:
make all-recursive
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/chris/phonemgr-0.2.1'
Making all in po
make[2]: Entering directory `/home/chris/phonemgr-0.2.1/po'
make[2]: Nothing to be done for `all'.
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/chris/phonemgr-0.2.1/po'
Making all in src
make[2]: Entering directory `/home/chris/phonemgr-0.2.1/src'
make[2]: *** No rule to make target `/usr/share/idl/GNOME_Bluetooth_Manager.idl', needed by `GNOME_Bluetooth_Manager-common.c'. Stop.
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/chris/phonemgr-0.2.1/src'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/chris/phonemgr-0.2.1'
make: *** [all] Error 2
However:
$ locate GNOME_Bluetooth_Manager.idl
/usr/share/idl/GNOME_Bluetooth_Manager.idl
I did try going for the package version instead of building my own -
but that gives
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
phonemgr-applet: Depends: libbonobomm1.3-6 (>= 1.3.5-4) but it is not installable
Depends: libbonobouimm1.3-6 but it is not installable
Depends: libgnomemm1.3-10 but it is not installable
Depends: libgnomeuimm1.3-17 but it is not installable
Depends: liborbit2cpp6 but it is not installable
Is this just an older package version? An apt-cache search on
e.g. libbonobouimm returns 1.3-7.
