Hey, I'm back for more. I attached these two lines to my
/etc/rc.local in Fedora:
-----
rfcomm bind all
chown [username]:root /dev/rfcomm0
-----
But, at startup, the boot log says "chown: cannot find /dev/rfcomm0".
When I finally login, there IS a file for the rfcomm0 device in /dev,
and chown works just fine, and then BitPim sees it. But I can't seem
to get chown to work as part of the rc.local. Are device files not
visible that early in the boot sequence?
