You can use the Linux machine as a gateway PPP connection with Opera on
these phones.  Opera is capable of browsing WML pages.  There are
several FAQs on setting this up, google for "P800 Linux".

*however*

This is not exactly the same thing as using WAP: when you use WAP your
cellphone carrier's server translates the WML page into binary WBXML to
send to your phone.  You can only access WML pages this way through your
cellphone carrier.
