Heya,
Yet another patch to test out. This one adds btsignal-watch test
application to watch the signal strength of the phone diminish as you go
away. The obvious goal is:
http://perl.jonallen.info/bin/view/Main/BluetoothProximityDetection
but in a GNOME integrated user-friendly way.
# ./btsignal-watch 00:60:57:1A:0A:6D
Strength for 00:60:57:1A:0A:6D: 1
Strength for 00:60:57:1A:0A:6D: 5
Strength for 00:60:57:1A:0A:6D: 5
Strength for 00:60:57:1A:0A:6D: 5
...
Edd, what am I supposed to do for it not to created a connection to the
phone everytime it tries to get the strength of the device?
Cheers

She grew on him like she was a colony of E. coli and he was
room-temperature British beef.
