Hello all!

I have been using gnome-phone-manager-0.4 happily for quite a while.
Since upgrading gsmlib from gsmlib-1.11_pre030826 to
gsmlib-1.11_pre041028 gnome-phone-manager has difficulties establishing
a serial port connection to my Siemens S35 giving following output:

howard gnome-phone-manager # gnome-phone-manager
** Message: New connection device is /dev/tts/USB0
** Message: Connecting...
** Message: Status 1
** Message: Making serial port connection

Launching gnome-phone-manager with strace end up with the following
repeating output:

ioctl(3, FIONREAD, [0]) = 0
gettimeofday({1107879240, 815130}, NULL) = 0
poll([{fd=4, events=POLLIN}, {fd=3, events=POLLIN}, {fd=8,
events=POLLIN|POLLPRI},\ {fd=10, events=POLLIN}], 4, 0) = 0

My notebook is running gentoo, the gnome-phone-manager-ebuild uses an
gpm-libgsm.patch and is provided by breakmygentoo.org.

Allow me to say despite of this actual crisis of joy that I always found
gnome-phone-manager very useful and that I am looking forward to future
releases!

Thank you!
