Both of those are now committed, I'll do releases tomorrow.

Tadas has some code which should get merged in OpenObex before the end
of summer:
http://svn.muiline.com/viewcvs.py/stablebeast/obex-data-server/trunk/

Not really, it just takes time for Marcel to merge my code...
gnome-phone-manager might be a better fit for volunteers.

There are a couple of TODO items in Bugzilla, and gnokii can always use
more help with driver fixes (it's all user-space, so it's hard to do
something really wrong :)

Drop me a mail if you're interested in helping out.

There's also some associated projects all around GNOME, such as:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=361727 (web clippings in
Epiphany)
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=309073 (allow importing vCards
into evolution-data-server, useful for gnome-obex-server/mail)
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=308174 (have a "call person"
menu item in Evolution if gnome-phone-manager is connected to a phone)

Cheers
