I think this is do-able, once we have a way to talk about events/actions 
more clearly. Then we can talk about people committing/promising to do things, 
or offering to do things in return for other folk doing other things.

Re 'money', I quite like the Letts Scheme approach. I thought I'd sent 
some notes around here before, but on investigation it was to the 
Barnraising list. See http://groups.yahoo.com/group/barnraising/message/50 
for some pointers and scribbles.
