I think this needs some standardisation so we all do it the same way. I 
favour a standard service type in a YADIS/XRDS file. By doing this we 
can specify an OpenID URL, find the Yadis file there, and pick up both 
the OpenID service provider and the FOAF location.

The other parallel alternative might be to have a standard entry in 
OpenID AX. This has the advantage that the OpenID validates the location 
of the FOAF.

If the FOAF is hidden behind oAuth we've got yet another layer of 
indirection in there that has to be negotiated.
