Hey (Sorry Bastien for receiving this twice, forgot to cc the list)

Thanks for the help. Anyways don't know if it makes a difference but I
forgot to tell you what version of the software I'm using. At the
moment I'm running Ubuntu Gutsy on my IBM x40 laptop and using the
following software:

libgnokii3 0.6.18-1ubuntu2
gnokii 0.6.18-1ubuntu2
gnome-phone-manager 0.10-0ubuntu1
gnome-bluetooth 0.9.1-0ubuntu1

And here is the output you requested:

je at rohan:~$ gnokii --identify

write: [ATZ<cr>]

there is a newline after "write: [ATZ<cr>]" and then it hangs, though
I'm not sure if thats whats supposed to happen :)

I'm not experienced in building things and installing from source but
if you need further testing I think I could manage it.

Hmm I don't know about gnapplet but ill see if I can find some info about it.

Thanks again.
Cheers
